Our history
Since 1912 We have been area's personal transportation experts.
In 1912 C.S. (Carl) Snyder began to sell motorcars manufactured by The Ford Motor Company. Sales, service, and complimentary driving lessons were offered. C.S. didn't realize his family would carry the business into the next century. In 1988, it was decided to sell the Ford franchise to better serve customers who, at the time, were more interested in the growing used vehicle segment of the market.
The last 36 years have been a time of transition. Our customers once shopped exclusively at “bricks and mortar” showrooms. Our focus has always been on giving our customers a comfortable, simple, car shopping experience in person. Today, customer preferences are shifting to a virtual showroom experience, with many elements of the purchase being self-driven. A high quality, online sales platform requires a new investments in personnel, software, and hardware, while demanding less physical showroom space.
Dad and I have made the difficult decision to list our property at 259 S Main St. Orrville, OH 44667 for sale. We are currently exploring new opportunities.
